Cylinder
- A cylinder has two parallel, congruent circular bases. These bases are located at the top and bottom of the cylinder.
- The side of a cylinder is a smooth, curved surface that connects the two circular bases. This surface is equidistant from the center of the circles along its height.
- The distance between the two circular bases is known as the height of the cylinder. It is perpendicular to the bases.
- The radius of a cylinder is the distance from the center of one of its circular bases to the edge of that base
